Free is meant for trying Demosaiq on short clips: up to 3 videos per day, up to 5 minutes each, using software encoding. Pro removes those limits and unlocks hardware-accelerated encoding (NVENC for NVIDIA, QSV for Intel, AMF for AMD), which is typically 3–10× faster, plus manual control over device selection. The restoration model itself is the same — Pro is about throughput, not quality.
Lifetime is a one-time purchase that gives you all Pro features forever, including all updates within the v1.x series. It's a good fit if you'd rather not deal with a recurring subscription.
The free tier is designed for evaluating whether Demosaiq is right for you. If you have ongoing restoration work, Pro removes all limits and pays for itself with the speed gain alone.
Yes. All processing runs locally — videos never leave your machine. Pro and Lifetime licenses validate online once, then work offline for up to 7 days between checks.
NVIDIA (CUDA), Intel (XPU), Apple Silicon (MPS), and CPU fallback. Free users get automatic device selection; Pro and Lifetime users can pick a specific device when multiple are available.
One device per license. To move your license to another machine, deactivate it from the in-app license manager and activate on the new device.
